Who is MagnumVox?

Answering the challenges of tomorrow begins with maximizing what you have today. Savvy leaders and smart organizations know that the most important resource to develop is the human element. MagnumVox Leadership specializes in maximizing that factor through facilitating your ability, and your people's ability, to achieve success to the greatest extent possible.

I thrive on being a catalyst and connector for individual and organizational growth and success.

I do this through being a Leadership Coach who also does Public Speaking and Workshops.

For those who are curious about such details…

As the founder of MagnumVox Leadership, I've done Public Speaking, Workshops, and Coaching in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors (for example Microsoft and Goodwill Industries of Central Texas). Prior to establishing MagnumVox Leadership, I worked in mental healthcare, computer manufacturing, customer service, event planning/facilities operations, and workforce development.

I'm passionate about these areas of focus: Leadership & Personal Development, Communication Behavior, Organizational Behavior, Team Development, Diversity, and Ethics. Some of my workshop and speaking topics have included:

* “Create Your Own Flight Plan: Fueling Your Personal & Professional Success With Passion” for FemmeTastics
* “Intentional Leadership: The Four Pillars of Success” at The Crossings
* “Changing the Game of Life: Going Within To Go Outwards” for the Remarkable Women’s Conference 2007
* Keynote speaker on Success for the Future Leaders Investment Project 2007 Banquet
* Keynote speaker on Ethical Leadership for Executive Women in Texas Government, Leadership Symposium Luncheon
* Keynote speaker on Leadership for the Business Professionals of America-Texas Area 4, Region 2 Leadership Conference
* Recurring guest lecturer on Ethical Leadership in the St. Edward's University New College program

I also does presentations and workshops for youth on the topics of Life & Career Choices, and Success.

Having studied psychology and sociology, I went on to earn both a BA in Organizational Communication, and a MS in Organizational Leadership & Ethics (MSOLE), at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. I am also a certified mediator.

In 2003, I was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda (Epsilon Omega Chapter).

In 2005, I was awarded the honor of a full sponsorship from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency to attend both the National Minority Enterprise Development Week Conference, as well as the Emerging Business Leaders Summit, in Washington, D.C.

My service to the community has included the Education Committee (Speaker Leadership Team) of Zach Scott Theatre, the Austin Free-Net Fiscal Sustainability Committee, and service in AmeriCorps.
